Pilates Classes
We run
a range of pilates based classes for all ages and abilities. These include beginner,
intermediate and advanced levels as well as specialist pilates based classes such as
back classes and a rehabilitatilion class for those recovering from injury.
We also run specific men's pilates based classes on a Sunday evening.
The classes
are small with a maximum of 5 in a beginners class and up to 6 in the intermediate
and advanced classes. This ratio allows individual attention from the instructor
and ensures that each person can work at their optimum level.
The studio is equipped with a comprehensive range of Pilates equipment including Pilates Reformers, a Trapeze Table and Spilt Peddle Chair. We also use a variety of small equipment including Coreboards, Swiss & Franklin balls, Theraband, Magic Circles and Feldenkrais Rolls.
Typically beginners will start with mat work and progress onto using the larger equipment. In all cases we try to ensure a variety of mat and equipment based exercises throughout the year.
Classes last 1 hour and are run most mornings and evenings throughout the week. All classes are booked and paid for in blocks of 8 weeks at a cost of £108 (£13.50 per class). As classes are small there is often a waiting list for the more popular classes.
